We all know ROG means Republic of Gamers! This series has been at the top of the gaming phone segment. It has led the tech world for the past few years. It has launched a new smartphone. The company released the new ASUS ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro smartphones. They come with advanced features and powerful specifications. 24GB RAM and Snapdragon 8 Elite processor are added to these phones. The features, specifications and price of the two phones are discussed in detail below.

Display
ASUS ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels supported. This LTPO screen is made of a Samsung E6 AMOLED panel. It is capable of a 120Hz refresh rate in normal use. During gaming, it can reach a 185Hz refresh rate. The screen supports 2500nits brightness, 145.65% sRGB and in-display fingerprint sensor and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Performance
Both Asus smartphones are launched with Android 15 and ROG UI. Both phones come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4E octa-core processor. This processor is built on 3 nanometer fabrication and clocked at 4.1GHz. Both phones have Adreno 830 GPU for graphics.
storage
ROG Phone 9 offers options of 12GB and 16GB of RAM. It provides 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the ROG Phone 9 Pro phone comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The company has also launched the ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition model in this series. 24GB RAM + 1TB Storage is added to it. All these phones have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technology.
The camera
Both the ASUS ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro have a 32MP selfie camera. Both phones have a triple rear camera setup on the back panel. It adds a 50MP Sony LYT700 primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture. This sensor supports 6-axis Gimbal stabilization.
ASUS ROG Phone 9 features a 13MP ultra wide angle lens. It also includes a 5MP macro lens in the rear camera setup. The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro, on the other hand, has a 32MP 3x telephoto lens with OIS feature along with an ultra-wide angle lens.
Battery
Both the phones are powered by a 5,800mAh battery for power backup. 65W Hypercharge fast charging and 15W Qi wireless charging features have been added to charge this battery faster. Both the phones have Quick Charge 5.0 and PD Charging technology.

ASUS ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro price
The 12GB + 256GB variant of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 has been launched at a price of $999.99 i.e. around Rs 85,000. Similarly, the 12GB + 512GB variant of the phone has been introduced at a price of approximately Rs 1,00,000. This amount is in Indian currency. This phone will be sold in Storm White and Phantom Black color options.
ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro comes with 16GB RAM. It has 512GB internal storage. The price is Rs 1,15,900 in Indian currency. The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition series phone with 24GB + 1TB has been launched. Its price is around Rs 1,33,690 in Indian currency. AeroActive Coller X Pro is available with this model.
